Dear Hickman County Businesses (Non-manufacturing and Distribution operations):
At the request of Hickman County Emergency Management Director, Jim Tanner, please review the attached Executive Order 22. If you determine that your business is an “Essential Service” based on the Executive Order 22, please follow the request highlighted below. Note: Manufacturing and Distribution operations in our community are not being asked to close at this time but are preparing the same letters in the event that it is mandated.
If your business plans to remain open under the definition provided by Executive Order 22, please begin preparing documentation that we can provide to city and county officials to exempt you from any mandates that may further restrict your operations. This could be a copy of a letter from corporate stating where and how you fall within the guidelines of Executive Order 22 essential businessesand it may very well be the same letter that you are providing your employees so that they can have them on hand if traveling to and from work.
Please send a copy of that letter to me and copy Jim Tanner, at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as it is available, Jim and I will package these documents in one place and provide them to the emergency personnel in leadership.
